Terre Nere Campigli Vallone
The Estate of Terre Nere Campigli Vallone was born from years of experience and mirrors the personality of our family and staff. Everything comes from the intuition and passion for rural traditions and values that owner Pasquale Vallone has had since his youth, elements that have brought about evolution in agriculture and specifically in viticulture.
This passion stems from Pasquale?s earliest experiences in his family, who have always been dedicated to self-realization by working in, and with, nature.
The Vallone family moved to Montalcino in the 1990s, allowing Pasquale to reinforce his interest and knowledge of the world of wine. In 1997, having purchased a property in the locality of Castelnuovo dell?Abate recommended by other winemaker friends, he planted the first 3 hectares (7 acres) of Sangiovese vines. These were followed by an additional 7, to reach a total surface area of 10 ha (25 acres) planted in vines. In 2002, the estate produced its first Brunello in 2002, met with acclaim right from the start, generating interest in the most important national and international wine publications.
Pasquale?s enthusiasm in managing the estate engages the whole family. His wife Piera supports him in all his efforts, demonstrating balance, good cheer, and lightheartedness.
Their children Francesca and Federico, after having completed their respective studies, found themselves irresistibly attracted by the world of wine and decided to enter fully into the family business, working side by side with their father. Both Francesca and Federico bring new energy and ideas to the business, while taking care to honor the fundamental values on which the estate is based.
